1. Roof: Replace missing shingles and repair any roof damage to prevent rodents and other pests from entering your home.

2. Vents: Ensure all vent covers are intact to prevent rodent and wildlife entry.

3. Screens: Repair or replace any window, door, and porch screens that have damage. Holes and tears can allow pests to enter your home.

4. Vegetation: Cut back tree limbs and branches close to your home. Rodents and other pests can use these to gain access to your home.

5. Gutters: Clear debris from gutters and downspouts to allow water to flow freely so they are less attractive to pests.

6. Outside: Remove debris and trash, which can create hiding places for pests and rodents.

7. Garage: Make sure the garage is properly sealed to keep rodents, insects, and spiders outside where they belong.

8. Foundation: Seal any holes, gaps, and cracks larger than a dime. Mice can enter through an opening of this size.
