About Katie

Katie is the Innovation Product Owner for PestConnect Optix at Rentokil Initial. She co-ordinates the development of camera solutions - hardware, software and AI - and manages the rollout and deployment across our global business.

She draws on her experience of product development and project management to understand business challenges in pest control, and how technology solutions can help improve colleague and customer experiences.

Katie’s background and experience

Katie has built her career around delivering projects, improving customer experiences, and leading teams in fast-paced operational environments. She joined Rentokil Initial as a Special Projects Manager before moving into her current role as product owner.

In her product role, Katie works across teams to support the development and delivery of products and initiatives. She draws on her strengths to co-ordinate cross-functional teams, manage varying customer landscapes and ultimately create and deliver solutions that challenge how pest control is delivered to customers.

As a Product Owner at Rentokil Initial, Katie supports the development and delivery of products and initiatives that meet business and customer needs. Her role involves working with stakeholders to help define priorities and translate objectives into practical outcomes.

Katie’s experience as a program and project manager gives her a strong background in coordinating cross-functional work and supporting change across the business. 

She is experienced in managing competing priorities and helping teams move projects from planning through to delivery.

Customer experience and operational leadership

Katie brings a customer-focused perspective shaped by her leadership experience in retail and hospitality operations. 

Throughout her career, she has supported teams in delivering high standards of service while managing the demands of busy operational environments.
