EVENT: Baltimore Pestaurant
WHEN: Tuesday, September 26, 2017 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
WHERE: Pratt & Light Plaza
Baltimore may be known for its famous crabcakes, but on September 26, residents and visitors of Charm City will get a chance to sample delicious pest-themed food at Ehrlich’s Pestaurant.
Ehrlich Pest Control’s pop-up ‘Pestaurant’ events are held periodically on the East Coast, serving insect-infused dishes to the public for free to raise awareness about pests and Ehrlich’s services.
In Baltimore, Ehrlich representatives will be sharing yummy insect-dishes created by Eleven Courses at Pratt and Light Plaza from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Featured menu items include fried cricket crostini and mealworm Maryland crab cakes.
Since September is Hunger Action Month, Ehrlich will also make a donation to the Maryland Food Bank, a member of Feeding America, for every Pestaurant guest who chooses to chow-down on an insect delicacy. Whether you take part in our cricket-eating contest, munch a tasty cricket treat in flavors like sour cream and onion, bacon and cheese, and salt and vinegar, or enjoy an insect lollipop and chocolate covered insect, we’ll give to this worthy cause.
Visitors to Pestaurant can also take a picture with our giant Fly Cut Out to remember their daring dining adventure.
