  • Adult — 1/4"to 3/8" long, head and thorax are brilliant white, forewings are mottled.
  • Larva — up to 7/16" long. Ivory white with a red-brown head.
  • Pupa — in a silk cocoon.

Lifecycle

  • Normally one generation per year.

Habits

  • Often found in unheated outdoor buildings. Generally regarded as a scavenger.
